RedCardinal Motion Pictures is an independent film production company based out of Dibrugarh, Assam. Established in 2017, we are dedicated to producing distinguishable fiction and non-fiction films with our unique brand of storytelling. We always strive to accomplish high production value and a global aesthetic.
RCMP comprises of a team of highly skilled, professional, and driven individuals constantly enhancing their crafts. We have a production roster of premium films, documentaries and video content created under the RCMP banner and our clients.

Mridupawan is an independent director, screenwriter, cinematographer, and actor from Dibrugarh, Assam. His career cuts across several media including stage theatre, films, TV, and Radio. Over the years, he has had extensive experience working as a director, screenwriter and cinematographer for various film and documentary projects including those under the banner of RedCardinal Motion Pictures, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Doordarshan and All India Radio. Mridupawan Bora is a Co-founder and Director of RedCardinal Motion Pictures. He holds an M.B.A from Dibrugarh University and handles day-to day business administration at RedCardinal.

Rakesh is an editor, 3d generalist, VFX artist, graphic designer, painter and visual artist from Dibrugarh, Assam. With a B.F.A. from Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata and B.Tech in Petroleum Engineering from Dibrugarh Univeristy, Rakesh has worked as assistant director, editor, VFX artist and colorist on number of films, documentary, and entertainment projects, both locally and internationally. He is a certified artist with Zervas Art, UNESCO Club of Achaia, Greece. Rakesh is a Co-founder and Chief Editor of RedCardinal Motion Pictures.

RAY AHMED

Ray is an international music business executive, composer, producer, audio engineer and sound designer from Dibrugarh, Assam and currently based out of Dubai in UAE. With a Masters in Music Business and Production from Berklee College of Music, Ray has worked across numerous disciplines including contributing music to films, documentaries and live theatre. Relocating to UAE in early 2020 and assuming the role of Business Development Lead at PopArabia, the largest music services company in the Middle East and North Africa region, Ray’s experience cuts across global markets. He has been consulting and producing for companies, artists, and music projects based out of India, Europe, Brazil, Chile, South Korea, Canada and United States over the years. Ray is a Co-founder and Chief Sound Designer of RedCardinal Motion Pictures.

Tridib is a highly sought after cinematographer with extensive experience across various national and international projects of acclaim encompassing films, documentaries, music videos, photography and advertising films. He has a Bachelors Diploma in Photography and Multimedia from The One School Goa (TSOG). Currently based out of Duliajan, Assam, Tridib Konwar has assumed the role of Director of Photography at RedCardinal Motion Pictures.

HADHUKOTHA - timeless tales...
Hadhukotha revolves around the timeless Assamese folk stories of Roxoraj Lakshminath Bezbaroa. These stories written in the form of Burhi Aair Hadhu have been an integral part of Assamese folk tradition and monumental in the development of art transcending genres, languages, and geography. Hadhukotha reflects on the essence of folk stories and their impact in shaping young minds to develop an artistic bent and indulge in creative pursuits within different fields such as films, theatre, music, painting and so on. The film encompasses aesthetics of fictional and non-fictional filmmaking.
